7,016 sf buildout for one of the anchor restaurants located in the new Shops at Willow Bend in Plano, TX. MBC is the first Texas restaurant location for Felipe Sandoval, who previously was partner in Chicago’s Mercadito and Tavernita. As the Architect of Record I was responsible for fitting the owner’s concept in to the unbuilt space, laying out the kitchen and bar equipment, and making sure the design met all local Code requirements in order to secure the building permit approval.
